The movie story revolves around a martial arts form that was present even before Kalari and one that was practiced during the Cholargal period.

Story

Pattas (transl. Firecracker) is an up and coming Indian Tamil-language hand to hand fighting movie composed and coordinated by R. S. Durai Senthilkumar and delivered by Sathya Jyothi Films. It stars Dhanush, Sneha, Mehreen Pirzada in the number one spot jobs and Naveen Chandra as the enemy. The film highlights music formed by Vivek-Mervin. It denotes the second joint effort among Dhanush and executive Durai Senthilkumar after Kodi. The film portrays an antiquated military craftsmanship that was polished by the Cholas, and existed even before Kalaripayattu. For their jobs, Dhanush and Sneha experienced combative techniques preparing preceding the initiation of the filming.The film is booked to discharge dramatically on 15 January 2020.

For this film, Prakash Mabbu and G. Durairaj was chosen as proofreader and workmanship chief individually after recently teamed up with executive Durai Senthilkumar for Kodi. In the interim, Om Prakash was doled out as the film's cinematographer and this will be his fourth excursion with Dhanush after Maari, Anegan and Maari 2. Pattas will include Dhanush in double jobs – father and child. The segment highlighting Dhanush as the dad will have entertainer Sneha as his accomplice, and Mehreen Pirzada has been marked as Dhanush's accomplice for the child's job. The movie's first look publication was discharged on 28 July 2019, concurring with entertainer Dhanush's birthday.The music for this movie will be created by Vivek-Mervin, working together with executive Senthilkumar and on-screen character Dhanush just because, and the verses were composed by Vivek and Dhanush.
